Dale oversees MHP’s management of over 120 commercial properties throughout New Zealand, taking personal responsibility for ensuring the company delivers its services to clients on time, within budget and to the highest quality standard.
As director of MHP Dale is responsible for one of the largest commercial property management portfolios in New Zealand, encompassing around 90 syndicate-owned assets, as well as around 30 owned by private investors. The portfolio is characterised by modern building stock, long term tenants and a healthy LVR under 50%, which Dale and his team actively work to maintain.
Among Dale’s key areas of focus are maintaining strong relationships with directors of the syndicated properties MHP manages. He has a decision-making role on high-level management matters for the assets in MHP’s management portfolio and is also responsible for inducting new properties into the company’s management. Dale also oversees the activity of the business’ team of staff based in Christchurch, Queenstown and Dunedin.
Dale’s comprehensive background in property in New Zealand and London spans four decades, giving him in-depth knowledge of the dynamics of the property industry. He has also built an extensive network of contacts which adds significant value to MHP and its stakeholders.
Prior to joining MHP, Dale was Commercial Asset Manager for the London Diocesan Fund, managing the Church of England’s commercial portfolio across the London Diocese – including its impressive City portfolio.
As a director and CEO of MHP, Dale holds a governance role and sits on the company’s board of directors. He is an associate of the Real Estate Institute of New Zealand and the New Zealand Institute of Management.
